Jesse Dove’s research lies at the intersection of surgical simulation, robotic systems, and health care innovation, with a focus on improving both clinical training and patient safety. In a landmark 2012 study, Dove demonstrated that simulation-based training for bedside assistants could significantly enhance the performance of even highly experienced robotic prostatectomy teams—those with over 1,000 cases—challenging the assumption that veteran teams have little to gain from structured simulation.
