About

Henry Schoonyoung is a pioneering colorectal surgeon whose work has fundamentally reshaped minimally invasive surgery, particularly through the adoption and refinement of single-port (SP) robotic platforms. His research centers on advancing transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME) and single-port robotic colectomy, addressing critical limitations of earlier robotic systems.
