About
Harunobu Sato is a pioneering colorectal surgeon whose work has centered on the advancement of robotic surgery for colorectal cancer, particularly focusing on the application of the da Vinci Surgical System®. His major contribution lies in the early adoption and systematic refinement of robotic techniques for rectal cancer, where he demonstrated that high-resolution 3D imaging and multi-jointed instruments significantly enhance the precision of pelvic dissection.
