About
Gregory Lovallo is a pioneering urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on advancing minimally invasive robotic surgery, particularly through the adoption and refinement of single-port (SP) robotic platforms. His major contributions lie in systematically comparing SP and multiport approaches for complex urologic procedures. Through rigorous propensity-score-matched analyses, he has demonstrated that SP robotic surgery can achieve comparable or superior perioperative outcomes to traditional multiport techniques for partial nephrectomy (40 citations), radical prostatectomy (25 citations), and pyeloplasty (23 citations).
