Fredrik Bruhn is a pioneering figure in the miniaturization of space technology, with his research fundamentally reshaping the design and capability of micro- and nano-satellites. His key contributions center on the development of Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA) and Space Plug-and-Play Technology (SPA). In his seminal thesis, "Nanospace-1: Spacecraft Design using Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA)" (2005), Bruhn introduced a revolutionary framework for constructing spacecraft from multifunctional microsystems building blocks.
