Firouz Daneshgari is a pioneering urologist whose research has fundamentally advanced the surgical management of female pelvic floor disorders. His work centers on robotic and laparoscopic reconstructive techniques for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and stress urinary incontinence, with a focus on improving surgical precision and patient outcomes. Daneshgari’s landmark contribution is the development and validation of robotic-assisted abdominal sacrocolpopexy (RASC), a minimally invasive procedure for advanced POP.
