Emmanuele Tidoni’s research lies at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience, human-robot interaction, and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), with a focus on restoring agency and social connection for people with spinal cord injury (SCI). His pioneering work demonstrates how multisensory feedback—particularly audio-visual cues—can dramatically improve BCI performance, enabling users to control humanoid robots as intuitively as their own bodies.
