Eberhardt Koenig is a leading figure in neurorehabilitation, whose work has fundamentally reshaped how we approach motor recovery after neurological injury. His research focuses on the intersection of robotics, biomechanics, and neural plasticity, with a particular emphasis on restoring gait function in patients with stroke and spinal cord injury. Koenig's most impactful contribution is his pioneering work on robot-driven gait orthoses.
