About
Avelino Fraga is a leading urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on advancing robotic-assisted prostate cancer surgery, with a particular focus on improving functional outcomes for patients. His major contributions lie in the refinement and implementation of Retzius-sparing robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RS-RARP), a technique designed to accelerate urinary continence recovery.
