Alexander YF Chung is a pioneering hepatopancreatobiliary surgeon whose work has fundamentally shaped the adoption of minimally invasive pancreatic surgery in Southeast Asia. His research focuses on the evolution, safety, and reproducibility of minimally invasive distal pancreatectomies (MIDP) and broader minimally invasive pancreatic surgeries (MIPS).
