Alessio Giordano is a leading figure in minimally invasive surgical oncology, with a focused expertise in adrenal and colorectal surgery. His major contributions center on defining the optimal role of robotic and laparoscopic techniques for complex oncologic resections. Giordano’s work on adrenal surgery is particularly impactful; he led a large, international multicenter study comparing perioperative outcomes of robotic and laparoscopic adrenalectomy (41 citations), providing crucial evidence for surgical decision-making.
