Dr. Akiko Kudoh is a pioneering gynecologic surgeon whose research centers on advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques, particularly robotic-assisted and laparoscopic hysterectomy for benign and malignant gynecologic diseases. Her major contributions include establishing learning curves for robotic-assisted hysterectomy compared to skilled laparoscopic approaches, demonstrating that surgeons can achieve proficiency with robotic systems while maintaining safety and efficacy.
