Ada Tsui‐Lin Ng is a dedicated urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on improving outcomes for prostate cancer patients, particularly within the Chinese population. Her research focuses on the long-term efficacy of radical prostatectomy and the mitigation of surgical complications. A key contribution is her landmark single-institution series, which analyzed 20 years of data to elucidate the prognostic value of pathological and surgical information for Chinese prostate cancer patients. This study, with its long-term survival outcomes, addresses a critical gap in the literature, as such data were previously poorly understood. Her earlier work, a case report on trocar-site hernia at the 8-mm robotic port, has become a widely cited reference (25 citations) for surgeons performing robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy, highlighting a rare but significant complication.
