DATORKER® Strain Wave Gearing Systems

HIWIN's DATORKER® Strain Wave Gearing Systems consist of three basic components: a wave generator, a flex spline, and a circular spline. The elliptical shape of the wave generator rotates against the thin, tooth-lined flex spline, driving or being driven by the rigid circular spline which has more teeth. This reduces speed and increases torque, achieving much higher gear ratios than other gear reduction solutions in a more compact space. Multiple series are available including standard, heavy load, and lightweight configurations.
