摘要
In the modern realities of reforming the education system of Ukraine and the introduction of STEAM technologies, educational robotics is increasingly popular and in demand in the general secondary education system. However, according to its specificity, it is usually taught as an element of extracurricular education, most often in the field of computer science, and remains the prerogative of clubs and private schools. The variable school course "Robotics", the appearance of which became possible thanks to the new state standard of basic secondary education, should change this situation. It is aimed at the technical and engineering training of students, the popularization of engineering and technical professions, and increasing the interest of students in studying natural and mathematical disciplines, as a necessity of the modern digital society. Achieving these goals in institutions of general secondary education is a very urgent task that can be solved only if there are competent teachers in the field of educational robotics. Thus, teachers with appropriate competences are needed for the implementation of education of students in educational robotics. This article describes the methods and technologies for training future teachers of educational robotics based on the content model of the Master’s degree educational program "Educational Robotics", which operates at Poltava University of Economics and Trade. It highlights the components of a teacher's professional competence and presents the target and methodical components of training, organizational conditions for competence formation in teachers for the successful performance of professional activities in the field of educational robotics in the educational environment of an educational institution.
