摘要

Functionally Graded Materials Functionally graded materials (FGMs) are utilized in various fields, including biomedical implants, microfluidics, and soft robotics. However, conventional techniques have limitations in customizing FGMs in 3D. In article number 2314635, Guanghai Fei, Rob Ameloot, and co-workers describe the fabrication of FGMs by various grayscale vat-photopolymerization 3D printing techniques. Similar to the graded properties found in trees shaped by natural light, the gradients in the 3D-printed materials are achieved through graded light exposure.
