摘要

In an era defined by rapid technological advancement, Society 5.0 emerges as a transformative paradigm poised to revolutionize the way we approach global challenges. Society 5.0, a concept pioneered by Japan, envisions a super-smart society where cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Robotics, and the Sharing Economy can be used to address pressing social, economic, and environmental issues. This paper explores how Society 5.0 can be a catalyst for achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), related to poverty, inequality, climate change, gender equality and more. While the potential benefits are immense, the journey towards realizing these goals through Society 5.0 is not without challenges, including technological disparities, ethical concerns, and the need for robust policy frameworks. This paper also highlights the need for more rigorous studies and empirical data to bridge the gap between rhetoric and reality of this aspirational vision.
