摘要
This research work focuses on developing a helioagribot to enhance agricultural efficiency and sustainability. The proposed system uses solar energy and a microcontroller-based control unit to autonomously manage components like motors and sensors. Solar panels generate energy stored in a battery for continuous operation, even in low light. A DC to DC converter ensures optimal voltage levels. The Atmega 328P microcontroller acts as the CPU, utilizing ultrasonic sensors for obstacle detection and distance measurement. It controls DC motors through motor drivers and relays, enabling precise movement and mechanical operations. This versatile system can perform tasks such as crop monitoring, irrigation, and pest control, promoting sustainable agriculture through renewable energy and autonomous functionality. Challenges include ensuring continuous operation during low sunlight or bad weather by managing energy efficiently and maintaining battery longevity. System integration must ensure component compatibility and reliable software for overall performance. Durability and easy maintenance are vital, given the harsh agricultural environment. Addressing these challenges will enable the helioagribot to significantly contribute to sustainable agriculture through renewable energy and advanced automation.
