摘要

In the age of digitalization, the healthcare landscape is undergoing a profound transformation. The digitalization of the healthcare system encompasses a significant shift from manual procedures to robotic surgery and a transition from traditional paper-based methods to smart, digitalized healthcare systems. This paradigm shift entails the utilization of smart devices to record healthcare data, thereby leveraging the power of the internet. Consequently, healthcare professionals and hospitals can seamlessly track individuals' health records, facilitating timely assistance and intervention. Nevertheless, amidst these advancements, inherent concerns exist about the security and privacy of electronic healthcare systems. These concerns include access control, data breaches, and data sharing. This chapter highlights the security issues in health care systems that need to be addressed by the electronic healthcare manufacturers in the system design architectures that prioritize user security and privacy. By doing so, individuals can confidently engage with digital healthcare systems, knowing their sensitive information remains safeguarded.
