AbstractAs we look at the fundamental manner in which emerging technologies are altering human life, a natural trend to talk about is how Medical Robots are bringing about the biggest paradigm shift in ways in which human beings are treated and human lives are saved. Medical Robots help surgeons perform surgeries with maximum precision, minimal incision, and minimally deep invasions inside a human body. Such robot-aided minimally invasive surgical procedures with minimal incisions are more successful and are reducing patient pain, need for medications, and duration of hospital stays. Medical robots also include tele-robots that can be controlled by remote, even where the surgeon or his fingers cannot be physically present. Medical robots also include Nano-bots, using microscopic robots that can be swallowed like capsule or injected in blood stream.
